- Rick you are a fool. You might want to check out Alaska a little closer. The majority of the polititions in Alaska are Republicans. The governor, the Senator and at least one Congressman are republicans. If that makes a welfare state it surprised me.

- slodon, that is exactly right. The crooked banks did just that. They loaned money they knew they shouldn't loan because they knew they could bundle that loan and sell it off. They would not have to pay the consequences.

- So he should feel like puking every time he hears about the shooting? I can see that he is in sorrow about his wife....but it seems more like he is sorry to hear about the attention that Giffords is getting. And kind of wishes she had died. The man is a nut job.

Sorry to be such a bitch on the health care reform thread.

You can tell all these "I take care of myself and I don't want to pay for those who don't" folks have never had a serious medical problem.

I can't decide whether to ignore them completely, or to publically wish each and every one of them is diagnosed with something hideous.

I'm starting to really not like my own behavior on this board. Maybe I should just give it a rest.
